ok so do you have access to another mp3 player that will platy the cd that you could test it on... if not take the cd down to your local best buy or circuit city and tell them you want to demo some of the car decks.. if it works its the Deck if not...its the CD

Id try that seems like you are pretty much running in circles at this point

I tried on my CD Player at home that can play MP3 CD's, and it works very well, not a problem, even when I creat Music CDs or Folders. It is a Philips one

    Default mp3

I have a 06 outback v and my boat has never played a mp3 for me either
and that sucks cause that format holds so many files to a disk..i just lived with it this summer, but will try to make headwind with the dealer, to solve the problem, they are very helpfull
If you buy a moomba not only do you get great quality at a great price, but have lots of $ left over for the beer and gas!!!!

your not that is a very good point...i guess we kind of take advantage of thinking it would be since every radio now made is mp3 capable.. i will have to double check on it...

Butta - a VERY good quesition - but I have the 06 lsv as well and my Kenwood KDC-225M is capable of playing MP3's.

WakeBrother - Read page 6 of the manual for very detailed info about the limitations and specifics you must meet for it to work. Too many to post here.

I have used 2 different programs to create the CD's but no luck. Has anyone been able to play mp3 cds in their boats?
