    Default Lowering Lake Houston

    Attention all the Houston people!!!

    If you live on Lake Houston and have your boat on a lift you may want to stop what you are doing now, go home, and remove it ASAP. They are lowering the lake level to 40 ft, 2.5 ft below normal pool. The lowering should be done by Wednesday evening March 28th and it will stay at this level until dredging operations are complete. If you do not get your boat out and you live in a shallow spot you may not be using your boat this summer.

    The news has been reporting that they’re gonna test lowering the level with the storm we have coming tonight/tomorrow for flood control
