Summerized: what does this entail? To summerize mine, I back into the water and start it. Well, after the plug is screwed in.

For me, it entails about $300.

That’s what I mean? What are they doing? Do they not put the freeze plugs back on after winterization?

Sounds like something that is milking $300 unnecessarily...?

Hmmm....I have it winterized, store on a battery tender, clean before winter storage.

Then simply fire it up in spring. I don’t see the $200 worth here. None of our area marinas do this here in South Dakota.

    Interesting!

It's stored in their heated building. That's where the pics are, I had them pull it into the shop so I could detail it. Basically it's a full-service deal. Some people don't ever touch their boats except when they use it. The marina puts it in the water, takes it to the slip, then at the end of the season, pull it out, winterize it and store it.

Our marinas do that too—but they don’t get people for an additional $200 summerizing fee apart from the storage fee.

Doesn’t sound like you have a choice anyway.

Thanks for the clarification, why I asked. Our boats are ready to run after winterization.

Shop was a mess from winter, 2 lifts on the vehicles (3 if you count having to do Linz 4Runner twice lol) and getting the new car hauler ready to roll.
Pulled everything out and cleaned and rearranged.

Now there’s tons more room. Gotta get ready to build a new box for the W6’s! Glad they fit side by side.

Counting down the days until I hit the water again. Adding IBS to the Max. Will see how she likes it.
