    Default Rev 10

Just bought a new moomba max and want to order a set of rev 10 for it. What amp will be better the sd2 or syndx4? Also will I need adapters to mount to the tower?

SD2 would allow you to add a 2nd pair without adding an amp if you ever wanted.

Plans to add a second pair? Future proof yourself with the SD2 for 400x2 on the current pair and don't look back. Purchase only hurts once. If you buy another pair down the road the SD2 is still a great matchup.

If no plans to ever add another pair a SD4 at 685x2 is nuts, but make sure it's tuned by a professional!!

JL HD750/1 is another great option, 1 per pair.

Budget constraints aside, The SD2 is tge better of the two. It will deliver the same 400W rms to each, but at a comfortable 4 ohm p/chnl load. The DX4 would be bridged 2 chnl mode, so each chnl is 2 ohm to deliver the same wattage. The SD-2 will also run mono. The Syn-DX will be stereo. Mono for a tower setup can have its advantages. Bring price into it and the Syn-DX4 is HARD to be for a single pair of Rev-10.

I would not discount the new Syn-DX2.3HP. Really impressed with this amp.

Not sure what tower you have, so dont know if you will need X mounts a tower specific adapter or traditional tube clamps. If you need tube clamps, go with the TC3-S in order to accommodate any tube angles.
