That is one of main reason he is attracted to the G21 the storage is better than the SA. The G21 is all sub floor ballast, so all underseat storage is wide open.

How about the wave and how easy is it to setup the G21? Does it need additional lead or PNP ballast in the rear lockers to surf?

Keep in mind that the SA pulls the PWT and that Parker Payne the best surfer in the world(IMO) surfs and owns a SA. You are also able to Slalom ski a SA.
The G21 is nice but there are more pros the sa

You should be able to get a screaming deal on the SA being a demo. That's what I did.
After demoing the SA, G23 and Centurion F series, Supra wins hands down. Storage is a relative thing. Mine has Enzo bags, we finally got storage figured out. It's all in what he's wiling to live with!

Hence the G should have produced a better wave than my SR. The best part of the Supras is you don't have to be that guy and ask someone to move the boat moves the weight for u

Another factor that hasn't been mentioned ..... Has he driven both? Because one drives likes a sports car and the other like a bus.

He has not driven either boat yet. Lake demo on both of the boats this weekend.

The G21 does have the H5DI motor which is an upgrade from the standard ZR4. So the horsepower and torque numbers are almost identical to the Raptor 400.

Is it the hull design that makes the G handle like a bus?

I'm not sure what the actual cause of this bus like handling would be, I know that when I tested the G23, it was an absolute AMAZING boat, it ticked all the right boxes, until I tested the SA (my current boat). The surf wave on the SA was slightly better, but it handles like its on rails....I couldn't believe that a boat that size could be so agile. The luxuries were very comparable. I will say the one thing the G had over the SA was storage....but like it was stated about, storage is a relative thing that can always be adjusted for. The winning factor for me, granted I was comparing a G23 with the SA, was the surf wave, user friendly controls with toggle redundancies, price and value for what you get. I also demo'd the Centurion Ri237 which had an amazing wave, but was a bust in every other aspect, especially user friendliness. Tested Tige.....amazing boat, but again Value, handling and surf wave was taken by the SA. These are obviously my opinions, and take them as just that. I was dead set on the G until I tried my current SA.

My experience is also with a G23 ... it drove similar to the way my prior boat did, like I would expect a boat to ... like its floating on top of the water and a little slow to react. But like mentioned above, the Supra's drive like they are on rails.
