    Safety factor, that’s the word he used. Sorry to bring this up, just had no idea and thought it was interesting.

    So what’s your recommendation? See if GM can change the hitch out for one rated higher?

    I suggest shopping for a class 4 hitch and install it yourself. Last place I would go to rectify this situation is the dealer. Most dealers will not be qualified to fix this for you.

    ‘17 Yukon 4x4 with “max tow” lol. Sure glad I dropped $60k+ on this for towing, only to learn now I need to spend yet more money on it. Effing joke.
