'13 Moomba Mojo 2.5 Garage Recommendations
Hey guys, I've read a few threads on garage size but wanted to get some input on options. We're in the process of building a new home and I plan to build a pole barn in a year or two to put the boat in. Until then, we have a 3 stall garage on the house. It's 27' deep and 36' wide, planning to have a 18' x 8' door and a 9' x 8' door on the third stall. I have the space and the option to do a 10' x 8' door. Recommendations on size for the Mojo 2.5? Assume I can get it in either size with the tower folded down, the 9' width would be tighter of course. Thanks!

I had same boat and it fit in my 8 foot high door with tower down no problem. Width I don’t know but if you can get 10 ft I would do it.

I have the same boat and have a 10' x 10' door on my garage building and leave the tower up. 9' wide would be a really tight fit.

Keep in mind that a 9' door is not truly 9' by the time you install the finish trim. I have 10' x 10' doors on my shop (nominal dimensions) and width-wise it's tight. I have to pay attention because the boat bumper pads are within inches of the door jambs. I also have to lower my tower on a 10' tall door, it's not even close to clearing.

Go 10’, you’ll appreciate it for many other reasons after you no longer need it for boat storage.
