Damn, I can't believe I forgot to take advantage of this deal. Looks great! Are those the blended welds? Did you go with flapper or not? Is there no brace of any sort? The flange just bolts up and that's it?

Yes, they are the bended welds. It bolts thru the transom,so there is no other braces. It is a super clean install.

Kurt, I just started this past Sunday on my install! (2016 Mojo as well). I'm at the point of trying to use the debond on the factory flange at transom and then remove the cat in the engine bay. Any tips for overall installation other than what's provided by FAE? Are you able to re-use any of the factory drilled holes for the mount? Also, I take it that you used the machine screws and nuts and not the wood screws?

The instructions that came with it were pretty spot on. I did have a little bit of a hard time getting the old flange off, but it finally broke loose. I used a hammer and stuck it inside the flange and used it to pry it loose. As for the baffle, I got the hose off of the flange at he back of the boat, then inside the boat I folded the hose (from the baffle to the flange that needs to be removed) and hooked a rope to the hose through the exhaust hole and my wife pulled the rope and I was in the boat wiggling free the hose. (I hope that makes sense!) Once I got that hose off I drilled a hole in the baffle and tied the rope to that and did the same thing with my wife pulling. I don’t know if that will help, but that’s how I get them off.

You do not use the old holes from the flange, you have to drill new holes for the machine screws to go through. That’s the easy part!!

Hopefully that helps you out. Good luck with the install!

Thanks Man! I believe that does make sense. Just to check -- once the rubber hose was off the transom flange and then off the baffle pipe, you hooked baffle pipe to rope and pulled through the transom in order to translate it out/off to get rid of it?

Yes, I drilled a hole in the baffle pipe and tied a rope to it, then had my wife pull the rope outside the boat until it came loose.
