I put an FAE on my 2005 LSV. I would not run without one and have never had a problem. Well... the paint is coming off the very end after 600+ hours if that sort of thing gets you, but there is no rust or structural issue. You might have to fuss with that someday if it bothers you. The "too much sun headaches" ended when it went on. Ended, never heard of one again.
