    Default Shop Lights/Garage Lights

So an opportunity came up to move into a larger storage unit...I went from an 11x30 to a 12x36.

One of the things I'd like to do is string a row of shop lights along the top.

Can anyone recommend a linkable LED light that is bright but not crazy expensive?? I was thinking (4) 4ft lights strung together...

The programmable shop light from Costco was about $30 on sale. $40 normally. It is an LED four foot light that you set a series of dip switches for light intensity, sensitivity of the motion detector, amount of ambient light to have the light ready for motion, time to go 1/2 dim and time to go completely off. I put it in the shed at full sensitivity and full brightness so it turns on as I approach the shed by the window. Next year I have a $150 solar system from Home Depot that I will run it from. 46 watts at full intensity. I didn't know it had all of those features as I wanted a motion detector that lights up before I go in.

I've seen the Costco ones and I really like the motion detection capability...unfortunately they are not linkable so a daisy-chain configuration wouldn't work.

The ones I got at HD aren't chainable but they are daylight. That makes a huge difference if you are going to work on it in storage.
