2017 helix oil filter spin on or cartridge?
I'm picking up my boat later today and plan to do oil change. My manual lists both. Can anyone verify which one is on my boat. Thank you.

I also plan to install a strainer that the dealer sold me. It has 1"npt holes for fittings. What size is the inner diameter of the hose. Basically what size fitting do I need. In this picture I have 1" hose Barb but it looks small. I appreciate any information. Thanks

You should have a cartridge style filter on your 2017 model engine.

Thank you for the quick responses. Seeing as the hoses are 1 1/4 and the strainer they sold me is 1" will this be a problem ie not enough water flow? Once again thank you.
