Prop shaft collar.
Broke collar that attaches prob to V-drive. Local dealer says gotta buy whole shaft. The new one in pic is wgong size, obvi. Any info? Place to buy? Do you have one? Know of a dealer that might have one? Any pointers from experience?
Thx,
Mike

What year and model of boat is that from? Is that from general wear and tear?

Looks like the new one that is too large might be able to be machined down to match the old one. Could check with a local machine shop or auto parts store that does machining, might be cheaper if the only other option is buying the whole shaft. You probably need the size of the broken bore though or clearance to the shaft.

Looks like the coupler for a dual taper shaft is only available as a complete assembly. You can call these guys to confirm.

Update, local shop had sold me wrong coupling. Way to big. Local machine shop going to make it work... hopefully.
