    I hear that idea works in LOW humidity environments.

    Ain't worth a dang in Texas, unless you are way out west.

    Had one of these years ago. Had some effect, but marginal.

    All you need to do is take the heater core out of the box put a bag of ice in there turn on your fan and you have a swamp cooler

    Problem using lake water is it's so hot it will be melting the ice too fast.

    True swamp coolers need cool water to work correctly

    So when you gonna retrofit a car a/c system into the boat? I drive a convertible and even with the top down in 90+ degree heat, there are times when having that little bit of cool air blowing on you is badass.

    Half the convertibles in FL have the top down but the front windows up and either the heat or the A/C on. The other half never put the top down-- ever. Idiots.

    I tried a thermoelectric cooler last year, and it sucked. Drew a ton of power, and didn't keep things cold, took forever to cool things.
