I'm trying to install some interior lighting and a boat plug light. My first attempt at accessing the factory switches left me very impressed as to the professionalism of the factory install. Also the courtesy lighting is very well set in the boat and covered by marine carpet. This is very nice but creates a bit of an access issue for me. The wiring harness is so tightly set behind the panel I am not comfortable just jumping in to the install. Should I just start clipping the tie wraps so I can pull it out and get to the wires I need? Thanks in advance
