Any tricks to get out of demo mode

I tried everything in the manual , reset and battery off no dice

Works from the Apple cable to play and volume on remote but demo goes round and round

I was reading online once you can't get them out of demo mode , that it might be Totally shot. Is that true

I'm not going to give you false hope. First, verify that you have a strong supply voltage specifically across the molex terminals of the HU. This technique sometimes does work with frozen microprocessors, but is not a high percentage remedy. Disconnect ALL power and grounds. Let the unit sit in isolation for an hour. Re-attach ground and power, ground first, and power second. Try the menu again.
