I was checking the fluid this past weekend and tried to screw the dip stick back in and it wouldn't thread? is there any way to fix the plastic dip stick threading?

It probably got started crooked and it got cross-threaded. You might be able to clean it up with a file but if that doesn't work, you may have to get a new dipstick. The Indmar part number for the dipstick is 885101. Your dealer can order one for you.

Thanks, I ordered a new one from Atlanta Marine. Question, when I drain the Indmar v-drive, can I just put the tube from pump in the dipstick hole and pump out the fluid? Or is there some trick? And the transmission fluid, same question.

That's exactly what I do for both of them. Pump it all out and start over.
