My XLV is a 2008, which has the upgraded hull, but I'd think the setup should be fairly similar (and I'm hearing similar stuff above to what I run).

    1) 1100's rear. the starboard bag is 50 to 75%. I took out the carpeted partial dividers that are carpeted at the top/front of the Stern lockers. (The ones that are basically on the other side of the seat backs, so the bags can fill a little more)

    2) 1180 gravity games bag in the front playpen locker

    3) My boat came stock with 400 bags. One of those fits perfectly under the port seats from the cooler cutout to the batteries. That is filled all the way.

    4) the other 400 bag is placed under the port bow seat and goes from the forward side of my battery boxes (I have 3 batteries) up to the tip of that locker. the bag is folded over a little as the locker comes to a point, so I figure I get about 250 pounds in there.

    5) homemade suck gate as low and back as possible on the middle color strip of the hull. (above the spray pockets)

typically we are 10mph on the paddlewheel perfect pass. we have river currents. sometimes we go up to 10.3 or 10.5 but usually stick around 10.

The wave is big and has a reasonable length and it's very clean and smooth with push for days.

    6) we also have a custom swim platform to keep the platform out of the wave. this keeps the wave cleaner and maximizes the push the wave has.

    7) wake plate is 1/4 of the way down typically. No more than 1/2.

my 3 big bags were replumbed with 1.25" line, 3 new thru hulls and T1200 pumps. (although reversibles would be easier and close to as fast). the bags under the surf side seats were plumbed to the factory scupper thru hull on a single reversible pump. All bags will fill or empty in the 7 to 10 minute range.

Contact Bennett Marine. They will send you a free kit to seal them back up if it is leaking from the plunger. If you have to fill every weekend that is a really bad leak.
