You find the suckgate makes a better wave than the flow?

    Thanks

My suckgate made a huge difference in the wave on the weekend. much cleaner, but noticed the push was a bit different. I have to find out how to ride this new wave!!! I ran surf side 800 full, non surf side 400 full and ski locker 400 full. I also put some of the kids in the front, but I don't think they were enough weight. The stainless handle didn't even move. Had it on for about an hour and no problems at all. I put my angle around 70. I think I am going to spend some time dialing this wave in, as doing it on the fly was a bit tough.

Question though.... with the suck gate, should I be balanced in weight in the back, or listed like I had it. If anything, I can upgrade the non surf side to an 800 to make it even.

Thanks everyone for your tips and insight.

    Richard.

It should be listed a little bit, even with the gate. Somewhere around 70-80% in the off side is usually about right.
