Filling ballast?? Moving or still?
Should I be moving while filling ballast on my 2015 Mondo Surf or can I do it while floating idle?

At idle or moving with the reversible pumps is fine

I was told that, for filling, moving forward in an idle/no wake speed is the best bet for filling them. Can be emptied at any speed.

Driving forward will fill them slightly faster.

If you are up on plane the boat is higher out of the water and so it's further/harder to pump. With the old aerator pumps and the scoop intake you could get the boat moving and create flow. With a reversible pump and mushroom valve I would think this effect is negligible.
My Mom said I'm not allowed to get wet!
