Default Anybody else have their hour meter quit working?

Had a guy show up today to test out the Outback V I have for sale.

Before we left the house the engine hour meter was working, but had the last digit starting to "pixalate".

When out on the water, the meter stopped all together.

    Any ideas?

Interesting idea. But....I'd hate to buy a boat with something not working correctly.

Yes, but you buy new boats. This guy is buying a used one.

I still believe it trying to get everything working. You know, the "do unto others" thingy.

I did take Drew's suggestion to heart and wrote the guy that if I couldn't fix it, I would knock off $100.

Leave it to Moomba....after sitting since October unused, the boat turned over for about 20 seconds and fired right up. Ran like a champ out on the water.

Batteries were still at 12.5 V
