On vacation in Houston. was able to hook up with a local Supra guy and his wife for a fantastic time on Lake Houston.

Going from my Doomswell nubstep to a dooomswell neo was a pretty easy transition. woot!

The wife rode the Neo with the JJG fins too.

And 90 degree water was quite a treat for us where our rivers never get above mid 70s.

It was great. The freeboard is amazeballz. We were rolling 4k deep in ballast. #leadwake. there was an interesting line/crease at the top of the wave sometimes that I'm not used to, but having someone on the rear sundeck corner helped. it was plenty long, clean and push for days. no complaints. loved the rear transom storage (we threw vests in there (and lead!))

The open bow was HUGE (though it was hot enough that we didn't spend much time up there. I actually liked the over the tower bimini and the JL tower speakers were good enough for surfing. rope keeper was a nice touch to get the surf rope out of the way. the fold and tumble rear seat is nice for surf sessions and all the pop up backrests were rad. They should have made a garbage can passthrough like the G23 instead of having to make the person in the starboard observer seat move every time to open up the backrest for the trash.

Little guy is getting better each time out!
But now has to wait a bit to get out. He fell off monkey bars a week ago and has rode a few times since but just started complaining more so we had it checked.

That big white thing is why our water is never warm - but very clean...

Finally picked up a new tow truck. No pimp points yet, just a stock 2014 for now.

So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
