So we flew home from TX on Tuesday and had the boat loaded up and his the road Wednesday for 2 nights on Lake Mayfield in WA.
The wife didn't waste any time and jumped on for an evening set and was really happy to be back on her own Doomswell (after riding 4 different boats/4 different Doomwells in Texas).
The Next day we had the water all to ourselves from 9am until almost noon. Yes, it was cloudy with temps starting in the upper 50's and water temps in the mid to upper 60s. But it was like having a private lake. The wife tried out my John John Grom fins and liked them a lot. I'm going to either have to share or get her a set for herself!

Again, this morning it was cooler and dreary. But when you have water like this, there's only one thing on my mind. SLALOM SKI!!!!!!!! I don't care if the water is mid 60's. (mountain fed lake)
And my son enjoyed a rip on the wakeboard in the glass, with the lake to himself.
But my son's favorite part was both yesterday and today a few fighter jets flew over the lake pretty low and it was a sight to see. Yesterday we saw 3 and they were just too fast to get a picture of. Today we got lucky and I got the phone out quick enough. They were fast, loud, and sounded like FREEDOM!
