Gland Packing nut
I am farily mechanical, however I am a little green when it comes to the gland packing nut. I know mine needs to be adjusted I am getting a small stream of water coming into the engine compartment. I get the idea there is a wearable part behind the nut. Is that correct? If so what is it called?
How often does is need to be replaced?
Could this be the cause of my vibration?Bruce Fuerstenberg
