Default Broke tower speaker grill. Replace both speakers now? Stock 2007 lsv

Hit my garage and broke the grill on one tower speaker. Should I just replace the two tower speakers now? I don't need anything crazy just something nice that will drop right into existing cans and not require any upgrades. Not sure if I need specific speakers that go in cans or if I can just put any 6.5 in them?
Thanks! Would these be ok? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wet-Sounds-X...dEld2w&vxp=mtr

Hmm ok. I honestly never got into the big speakers and amps so I have no idea... I guess I would want the best speakers w/o having to add anything else. The sound system is stock as far as I can tell.

Would I need an amp with these or just plug and play?

Just looked and this is also in the boat. With this amp the polks I linked above should be fine right?

You wont need an amp upgrade to drive those XS-650 or any other speaker replacement, they will do fine. With they handle a ton of power for a 6.5", sure, a 150W rms each will have them humming.

Dont go with those old retired Dbs. You get a better system with the XS-650 and no amp upgrade then with those Dbs.

However, those polks are very good speakers if you do decide to go that route. Great mids.

Thats certainly debatable. Gap between the pole mounted tweeter and mid-bass. steel basket, zink plates screws, exposed magnet. Dont seem to use much UV protection in the material due to fading seen in a couple seasons.

For $60 p/pari, heck yeah, but no way in the world can they be compared to the build characteristics of a marine speaker the likes of a Kicker, Wet Sounds, JL, and Rockford or even the Polk MM and UM series. Now, the new DB series looks like they've made some improvements but have not had one in hand.
