    Default Steering cable question

Our boat is starting to steer pretty hard. Looking at old forum searches I see several post that say to grease the rudder. We have a 2010 LSV, and we run in brackish water a good majority of the time (cleaning and flushing every time). With this in mind, am I better off replacing the cable or does the grease the rudder trick help?

It depends on where your issue lies. But yes, grease the rudder first. If that doesnt work, then replace the cable.

I don't think your rudder has a grease fitting on it. You may have to add it yourself.
