    Default Ballast switch insides

I pulled the back off the ballast switch and now I don't know how to get it back together, mainly the two large metal pieces that don't seem to lock in place. How are they supposed to be aligned and close the cover on it? Seems impossible

Is that a standard Carling switch? If so, get a new one for like $10 and pop your labeled actuator on it. Should be able to find one at most any marine supply house.

It is literally brand new from wakemakers but there aren't any retainer clips or anything for the two metal pieces

Wow nevermind I'm an idiot. They lay flat. I swear when I took it apart they were vertical. Oh well, delete this thread.

I understand. I guess you have to decide how much your time is worth, compared to a standard carling brand marine rocker switch if you want to get it resolved today. Otherwise, im sure they resolve it for you if you are willing to wait for a new switch to be switch.
