    Default new anchor light?

I thought there had been some talk on here about changing out the flip-up anchor lights, but I can't find the thread. I have now broken off 2 of these in the last 2 seasons and looking to do something different. Has anyone installed one of these from Roswell (pictured) or something similar? Thanks for any feedback you can give.

Oops, should have looked at the tower before I started the thread. On the OZ tower, the flip up light is attached to the flat crossbar in front of the tow point, not on the round tubing. So will be searching for light like this with flat bottom. Anyone installed one of those?

There appears to be a seam near the bottom. Wonder if the bottom curved piece is removable.

I busted mine as well. Well, bent it and broke the clip off. Now it just kinda is there. So I'm chiming in to find out.

If you find one that works, post it up here... I'd love to replace the flimsy one that the Oz tower comes with. That Roswell looks pretty sweet, wish it could work.

I put one of these on my 07 LSV a couple of years back and it worked great. I hated the flip up one. It was kind of a pain but it turned out great.

FYI, overtons has this older style light for $119, but they're offering $15 off and free shipping. They won't have the newer one like you posted in stock until this one sells out though.

Did you mount it on top of the current pull pylon? If so, how did you run the wiring - is the pylon hollow?

yea, I did mount it on top of the pylon that you hook the rope over. If you unscrew the cover over the pylon it is hollow. It is a little hard but I was able to fish the wires up through the hole. I can't remember for sure but I may have had to use a bigger drill bit and open it up so I had more room to work with. It was a bit of a pain but it worked nicely. I can take a picture of it mounted if you want.
