Default Tower rack is too large for boards

I have two roswell tower racks on my boat. One has 3 prongs made to hold two wakeboards. The other only has two prongs (I am assuming for a kneeboard). I'm trying to come up with ideas to make the opening smaller on the two prong rack as I have lost boards out of that rack in rough water.

I have thought of just using foam tubing around the prongs to make it a little smaller, but wondering if anyone has good ideas that may look a little cleaner?

I have used shorten pieces of water noodles placed between the boards and the racks to keep them from bouncing around.

After you put the boards in slide a noodle in lengthwise parallel to the board between the two boards back to back so it presses the boards snuggly against the prongs . Then it will fit snug when you bungee it down.

I hope my explanation makes since.

Mine are too skinny to fit surfboards in, can only get a kids one in there.
