Default Ballast leaking from air valve

Rookie here. 2016 Craz. Do I need to open the top valve each time to allow air out then close them to avoid leaking? Was out today after dealer fixed leaking bag and they mentioned the adjusted the valve to the right spot whatever that means. I just know I can see the water coming out so I closed them tight.

The bags are not stock. they are the 1100 bags I had the dealer upgrade.

    Any advice for the noob?

Not sure what your asking. The top hose should be he overflow when the bag is full and will dump out the side. Maybe the dealer meant he rotated the hose so it wouldn't get pinched between the bag and the side of the hull as it was filling and get blocked Mine has done that a few times until I twisted the hose around. You shouldn't have to burp the bags every time you fill.

Thx. On the top of the bag there is a vent, no hose attached just a vent. They were leaking and not fully tightened. I'm assuming they should be closed as there must be another overflow hose vs. the vent I'm seeing on the top. When I tightened them down they clearly stopped leaking. I'm assuming that's all I need to do?

Also, I've never seen water come out of the side of the boat for "overflow". Should I keep filling? Thx all

Yeah, if run pumps longer than timer allows (meaning you turn them back on) all ballasts should eventually overflow and pee out that side.

You should have one over flow hose on the top and possobly an extra vent/connection point that you don't really use.

I'll take some pictures. Today I closed them up and I didn't have any leaks but the bags did fill with air quite a bit so I let some air out and closed them again. All good. Now I need to get this goofy wave figure out. I'm a goofy rider and the wave sucks compared to the other side.....
