Raptor 20 Hr Service

I just crossed over 20 hours on my helix and have to do the 20 hour service. Spoke with my dealer about this and they are saying its going to be over 500 dollars for them to do it!! From looking in the manual it seems like you basically just check over everything, change all the fluid and check the shaft alignment, or am i missing something?

I am in the same boat. 17 helix. They claim it's the only way to keep the warranty..... not thrilled about it.

My dealer told me if I did it myself it wouldn't void my warranty. I think ill be trying to contact indmar directly

Correct, it will void the warranty, per my dealer. My dealer made sure I knew about it before I ever took delivery of the boat. It is required on the raptor motors. I just had my dealer do mine at $679. Spendy but absolutely worth the warranty, considering how much money I spent on the boat. By the way, my dealer told me it had to be done between 10 and 20 hours, no more.

Yes, I saw that you said that. I would get that in writing and call indmar first about that....

To that point, I neglected to mention that it is so important to me that I towed the boat 6 hours 1 way to deliver it my dealer and stayed in a hotel then picked it up early afternoon and towed it home another 6 hours to get this service done.

I was also told that it would not void the warranty. They just told me to keep all the receipts so I could prove when I changed the fluids and that I bought(and put in) the recommended ones.

Just knocked out the first fluids change yesterday with the boat at 16hrs.
