Default Just bought a '15 Mondo!! Need advice!

Well, this is my first post and my first wake boat. I snagged a good deal on a 14 hour '15 Mondo with the surf package. Dual 650's in the back lockers, 500 center, 500 bow, and manual flow surf. Keep in mind this will be my family's first year trying to surf. Will I get a decent wave filling 100% of the stock ballast and dropping the opposite side gate? I know I'll need to play with the wake plate, speed and positioning of people in the boat, I'm just hoping I will be able to get away with the stock setup for now. I still need to buy a rope and a couple boards and even though I got a good deal it was still expensive up here in Canada.

    Thanks for any help.

You will need to list to surf side a little. Then when you can increase rear bags to at least 900. Take some time and just try different setups.

Is it typical to fill all 2300lbs. and then throw a few people to sit on the surf side of the boat?

I have 900 rear and 750 IBS. Fill non surf side about 80% and adjust with crew. Seams like goofy side likes more lean than regular side. Put manual flow all way down. Run about 10.8 regular and 11.8 goofy. Use wake plate to fine tune. I had 600 before the 900 and it was okay. But for max wave you will need more weigh in the rear. Just be patient and try different settings. Have fun and be safe!

Congrats man! Where's the pics though? If you're not using Tapatalk then you should. If you didn't know now you know 🏼*♂️

    I have 15 Mondo with AutoFlow 2.0
900rears 250under port seat piggy backed off port bag & 750ibs.

Wave is killer! The more weight you add the better it will get. I would suggest upgrading ballast before your next trip. Easy swap out & easy to adjust ballast fill times. Get the 1140 bags from wakemakers & 750ibs. Don't even mess around with stock....TRUST ME

So, I was in my Mondo Surf Edition checking out all the functions and familiarizing myself with it overall. I noticed it only has 3 switches for ballast fill and drain. I was told this boat had a 650 in each back corner, a 500 center and a 500 bow. How does this work? Does the front pump fill the center and the bow together?
