My Supra SA is the same way. I have hard tank plus 800 in each rear locker, center tank and bow.

Each Rear has a pump and the center/bow share a pump.

Yes, the hard tanks fill first and then overflow into the bags.

Thanks guys. So just to be clear. If I'm filling the 2 rear bags the 500lb center will fill first and then start filling the rear bags? Or does the center only fill first when the bow ballast is switch is engaged?

The "Bow" switch only fills the center hard tank, and then overflows into the bow sack.

Awesome!! Thanks! Trying to get the basics down before I hit the water Saturday. Seems a lot different that my stern drive, might take some getting used to.

Well, first time out was delayed as we had heavy winds the last couple weekends. I was extactic to say the least. Had 5 in the boat, full factory 2300 lbs, and all but the driver on the surf side, man flow on the second setting, wave was long and clean. Today was my first attempt at surfing so that was less than stellar but the Mondo pulled me out with ease, I just need to find the pocket before I wipe out!! Lol! Super fun!!!

Make one of these, cost about $30. I got my suction cup at Harbor Freight, the rest at Home Depot. The suckgate works great!! It works much better than the surf tabs. I place mine at the rear, just below the water line.

Have any video proof? I've considered building / buying one but all the research I have done says the suckgate devices are not any better than the manual flow.

Would love to see a video of both..back to back with similar / exact conditions.

I second this. The Mondo is my first V-drive and I'm not a pro surfer but I was impressed with the wave. I guess once I get more experienced I might notice a difference.
