2017 Craz Prop decision

So my boat came with the ACME 1235 from the factory and I want to get a spare, but thought I may as well make that one my spare and get an upgrade. So far it hasn't shown any struggle with 1100's I added, and the bow and center full, for either wakeboarding or surfing, although maybe the wakeboard hole shot is a little sluggish. Rather than go for the 2079, I'm thinking the 2773 (15" x 13") or 2775 (15" x 12.5"). I'm at around 940' elevation, and I can easily hit 5000rpm empty. I don't care about top end, so that's the least of my concerns here. Just looking to see if anyone else has run either of these in a Craz with the 400 Raptor and what your thoughts recommendations are.

Go for the 15x12.5. I have a 15x13 on my craz and wish I had a bit more bottom end. I'm at similar elevation. Forget about the 2079, it's too small.

What's your top speed with that 2419? What are the rpm's like at wakeboard speed?

Well, we primarily surf but with my 10 year old on the wakeboard, I run at 18ish mph at around 2600 to 2800rpm if I remember right. Never hit top speed. I did hit around 28mph with full ballast and 8 adults last week no prob.

Well I decided on the OJ 945. Read a ton of good reviews on that prop. Ordered it from Nettles

When you guys are considering a prop change, are you looking at your WOT range with your current prop and adjusting from there? I don't see any one mentioning this and it is the one most important thing to consider. It doesn't matter whether you want more hole shot or top end, you must consider what your motor's WOT range is and choose a prop that gets you in the range and still fulfills your requirements. Maybe you guys are considering this, but I never see it mentioned. Just a thought...

I typically do t like to run my boat at balls to the wall but I always check to make sure at least once that the prop isn't too high or low pitched. In my case I am looking to reduce load on the engine for the applications I use. I.e. Fully loaded surfing and wakeboarding.
