Not a bad idea. I'd have to source new brackets I guess. Plus, that would be shipping almost a full sheet of plywood by weight. Might get pricey just like ordering one from a dealer.

anyone that is in the market for a surf platfrom could reuse their brackets. you'd be selling just the platform that they could bolt up to their brackets. And just see if you could find a local person to buy it. It would be easy to change the width of the mounting strips on the bottom to accomodate someone with different platform bracket width. you could even sell it to someone with a different brand of boat. I'm sure you could get a local sale.
