Drain plug question

2007 lsv, how far back do I need to tilt my trailer (raise trailer jack) to get the water to drain out of the bilge & ski locker? From what I understand the drain plug will never get all of the water out of the bilge? I thanks want to make sure that when I store the boat outside enough water doesn't collect in the bilge before draining out plug to do engine damage.

You would have to tip it so it is nearly vertical. I never take my plug out anymore. Some have cut an access hole in the floor down in the ski locker and put a removable cover on there. This allows you to shop-vac the water out of the lowest part of the hull.
