    Came across this gem on instagram today lol

    Mud flap mod

    The guy said it was to help the surf wave. I imagine to clean prop wash?

    That was a big deal on the tige forum a few years back. I bet ragboy could school us on those things. What kind of boat is that on?

    Correct Ragboy did come up with that mod on the Tige,

    It was to push the wash down so you don't have the rooster tail landing in the wash. It was used when weighting the boat heavily on one side.

    Also it was used to make the goofy wave cleaner more then regular. Mostly depended on the direction your prop spins.

    Todays boats don't need those as the hull and tab systems are making the prop wash move to the non surf side already.
