    Dusty is correct, me and him talked a few times while I was getting started in this journey

    I didn't tell the forum about it because honestly I was more afraid of adding pressure to it.

    I look at it as a life change and what I did to lose the weight I have to continue the rest of my life.

    Biggest thing was my food intake and the quality of food.

    I stay on a strict 1500cal a day. No deep fried foods.
    No Greasy foods.
    No sweets
    No processed sugars.
    Very light on bread carb intake.

    Also my meal plates are what most call a saucer not a real plate. This helps limits my portion size.

    What is your metabolic rate? Years back I had mine tested and my resting metabolic rate was about 1800 calories a day. I'm sure it's not that high anymore.

    That said, 1500 seems like an amount for when you want to lose, but what about when you get to that point where you're ready to maintain...
    2008 Moomba Mobius XLV. Monster Cargo Bimini, WS Rev 410's, Polk Cabins, 3 Infinity Subs, PPI amps, WS420, Exile BT, upgraded ballast pumps, up to 3,500+ pounds of ballast, Blue LED's...
    1992 Supra Sunsport. **SOLD** 2k pounds ballast, Surf System, Blue LED's everywhere, decent audio system.

    Thanks guys

    @Trayson
    I don't know my metabolic rate.
    Yes 1500 would be losing weight. I am still looking to lose more but I have slowed my weight loss to apx 1-2lbs month.

    I am starting to incorporate working out in my routine but the first year I wanted to focus on my eating and I didn't want any extra cravings from working out lol
