Default Tie down bungees for Fly High fat sac

    Good morning,

I have two bungee tie down straps that are broken on my Fly High sacs. Does anyone know where to buy replacement bungees?

    Thanks,

Have never heard of them, highly doubt a bungee cord type tie down can hold 800lbs of water in place. Does the Fly High website have anything?

Post a picture if you have one, just curious as to their purpose.

I wouldn't worry about replacing them. They are only available from the factory. Everyone removes them when they upgrade bags.

I kind of thought they were kind of useless as well. I emailed Sky High regarding the bungees. They reply stated that SC were the ones who installed the sacs, and that they were the ones who supplies the bungees. I'm happy to hear that they are useless. Thanks for the input. I don't have a picture to post handy. Unfortunately, my boat is a couple hours away. Again, thanks all!!

Camping store and get some webbing. Last longer and easier to work with.

I never understood how a puny bungee could hold 650lbs of water when I can barely move it myself. As has been said, I wouldn't even bother replacing them or worrying about it.
