My lake you can't tow with the drain plug in unless you want a ticket. I wonder where I could put it while towing so I don't loose it or scratch the shit out of my wake plate.
Although $13 doesn't sound like it's going to be very bright lol

The other one I bought for $20 was super bright. It wouldn't fit as it interfered with the wakeplate. Brett, why would you have to remove it while towing? Just dont turn it on. Plus can you tow at night anyway?

Underwater LED's
All of these lights have a quick disconnect so that you can remove them easily
ETA: Looks like this second one I bought doesn't have the quick disconnect like the first one.

If I did another drain plug light, I was going to install a quick electrical disconnect. (although that was going to prove tricky because I don't know if I would have been able to find a waterproof quick disconnect that would actually fit through the drain plug hole.)
That said, I stopped that project and put my regular drain plug back in because while I was messing around with the drain plug light I dropped it on the garage concrete floor and cracked the epoxy... FML.
I'm still trying to figure out what my ultimate solution will be... I've got a bunch of those 6w LED lights, but I still haven't figured out a solution for installing 8 of them without drilling 3 holes for each of them (wire, and two mounting screws).2008 Moomba Mobius XLV. Monster Cargo Bimini, WS Rev 410's, Polk Cabins, 3 Infinity Subs, PPI amps, WS420, Exile BT, upgraded ballast pumps, up to 3,500+ pounds of ballast, Blue LED's...
1992 Supra Sunsport. **SOLD** 2k pounds ballast, Surf System, Blue LED's everywhere, decent audio system.

This is the one I bought first. It has a quick disconnect but doesn't fit.

This might be the ticket, but I am weary about galvanic corrosion between the chrome and bronze on the hull fitting.
