Default Any XLV owners running the Acme 1235? Any Clearance issues

I'm wanting to upgrade my 04 XLV from the Acme 537 prop. I have surf tabs being installed and have the gravity 3 ballast upgrade to 900's plus some extra under observer seat so I want to get a better surf prop. Choices are Acme 1235, 1847, 1617, 1433 or (even 2079). I'm pretty sure anything will be a surf upgrade from my 537 but so many choices. Any XLV (or LSV owners who switched from the 537). Do I really need to worry about the clearance with the 1235 and my boatmate trailer?

I have an 07 XLV and had no problems upgrading to the 1235 from the stock OJ. It still fits fine on the trailer.

I have the 537 on my 2008 XLV. I regularly run it with 1100 surfside, 600 non surfside, 400 surfside under seat, 225 under bow seat, 1180 basement locker. I have 3 batteries on the surfside too. I've been perfectly fine with my performance. I love the fact that the 537 is a great balance between being able to pull all that surf weight and still be able to slalom at ~30mph.

I have no motivation to change my prop. For what it's worth, I have the 340 CAT engine.

I run the ACME 1161, same prop as the 537 with slightly more cup for potentially higher top end (minimal though). I run 750 surf side and about 600 off side plus about 750 up front with center bag and mini-IBS. Usually have 7 or 8 on board. I like it for cruising, skiing, wakeboarding and it does fine for surfing too. I would certainly list out what activities are most important to you and demo any new prop. Better for one thing is better if it is your primary focus. Perhaps not if you do more things with your boat.

I don't ski behind the boat and we split the time between wakeboarding and surfing. It is a little sluggish getting out of the hole so I'd like to add quicker holeshots even at the expense of some top end speed. Maybe the 1433, but the 1235 should be a better fit for surfing.

I can surely ski at 30 plus , but behind an xlv you wont be dunking elbows unless you like doing cartwheels over the wake .

I switched from the stock prop to the 1235. Was a huge improvement and has about 2 inches of clearance on the trailer. Lots of hole shot. You won't be disappointed if you buy it.
