Indmar Assault 325 - Spark Plug Choices
Wondering what you guys are running in the Assault 325. Manual says AC 41-932. Not available anymore. Replaced with AC 41-993 a few years back.

Another option for spark plugs on the 325 engines. Stock many came with AC 41-993 Platinums (gapped at .060), but these have been replaced by AC 41-101 Iridium (also gapped at .060)

Hey Kane. Running 41-933 in mine for 2 years. No problems. That's what they crossed the 932's over to

I have the 41-993s. Bought a box of 8, but did not put them in last year. Existing ones looked fine.

If your engine dose not have catalytic converter exhaust, I would recommend using conventional AC/Delco MR43LTS plugs gapped at .045.. Any catalyst engines should use platinum or iridium plugs. The plugs we used in the cat 5.7L engines have superseded to 41-101 gapped at .040.

How many pounds of torque do you use when tightening the plugs on this engine?

I would guess 11 lb. ft. but maybe Engine Nut will chime in again.

I just switched my non-cat 320HP Assault over to MR43LTS. Just one day's use so far, but noticed no ill effects. The wallet really likes them.
