what board to buy?

Looking to pick up a new wakeboard this year.
What do yall recommend?

Have you ever ridden a Slingshot?

I really like my slingshot Oli.

It's got the hybrid rocker so not full on 3-stage, but not progressive. it's a sweet spot in between. I've ridden a handful of slingshot boards at Demo days and liked mine the best. I use the RAD bindings.

I am 5'10 and about 169 and I'm riding a 140 slingshot Oli.

The 139 Whip might be worth a try. I've ridden the whip and it rides very similar to the Oli.
It's a pretty good value at $219.

Note, the slingshots are quite different than a lot of the other compression molded boards. They ride different in the water because they're thinner. Most people love them though. I went from a Hyperlite Belmont DNA 136 to my slingshot and I am quite happy. As far as my level of riding... I can wake to wake all day long. throw some tindy grabs, sometimes a roast beef grab, and every now and then a tail grab. I do toeside 180's and play around with both heel and toe edge butter slides... No inverts or any spins bigger than that 180. that's about where I've been for years, LOL. But I enjoy.
