    Default EQ mounting options

I have a 2016 Mojo and will be installing an exile ZLD MK2 at the helm. I know many of y'all made custom mount plates for below the dash. For something not so fancy for this season what options are there? I looked at it and there isn't a "flat" surface anywhere to easily mount. I assume all Mojo/mondo/craz models around the 15 to 17 years have the same dash. If so, can folks post their pics of Exile or Wetsounds EQ mounts/locations? Thanks!

    Simple easy mount

Is to use two L brackets and mount to the bolts of the steering wheel. Use a piece of abs plastic to mount to the L brackets then mount eq to the abs . Easy sturdy accessible , cons it directly under steering wheel

I ordered a sheet of black abs plastic on Amazon, cut a section of it, drilled some holes in it, zip tied it to whatever I could find under the helm, mounted the zld, and done.

I mounted mine to the amp rack for four reasons:
    1. It's pretty much plug and play with all of the wiring right there
    2. When it's set, there is no reason to adjust it again
    3. No one can mess with "my settings"
    5. It's more protected

Dusty mounted my Wetsounds 420SQ right under the little cubby-hole/port or starboard surf switch to the right of the steering wheel. Not sure if the Exile is larger then the 420SQ, but I am happy with it there.

I just picked one of the WS 420 units and trying to come up with options also. Least destructive is under the dash but worried about whacking it with my knees. Are there good mounts available? Maybe have to do a 3D printed mount with rounded edges?
