EQ mounting options

I just picked one of the WS 420 units and trying to come up with options also. Least destructive is under the dash but worried about whacking it with my knees. Are there good mounts available? Maybe have to do a 3D printed mount with rounded edges?

There seems to be plenty of leg room. But an idea to get it tucked into the corner ...

That is one expensive azz mount...it is half the price of the EQ itself.

LOL, not really. Price out the amount of the aluminum billet, then the amount of CNC time to mill each piece, then add in the coating. Ive had smaller, less complex parts milled. The cost is actually real reasonable for what you get.

SO, I have the same dash and would like to get it just like that, but -- I swear mine isn't horizontal like it seems in that pic. Messing around I though it seemed you could put some backing or spacer material in there but it seemed like that would crack the dash over time? Moving left to right under the "cubby" and surf switch the bottom of my dash is sloping up.

I was toying with the idea of using that real estate, but that is a big commitment to cut the fiberglass. When in that location, did you have trouble fitting the EQ with the rear inputs, etc. -- in between the inner cabin wall and the outer hull? My guess is that it a little tight?
