    I thought of another easy fix: you could get a bit of polarized film and put it on the gauge aligned at 45°. You'd have to experiment with which alignment works and it would have an overall darkening effect but it should work. You should be able to get a small piece of film cheaply on ebay, etc.

    Yeah, I added the Faria depth/temp gauge. I was able to hook it into the factory transducer that was on my OEM depth gauge. My plan was to hook it into the temp sensor lead that my perfect pass was using, but that never ended up working (enough though in theory it should have). I'll probably mount a separate water temp lead eventually.
