2001 Outback modification and tower help

Hello community! I'm new here. Thanks for any help. I purchased an exceptionally clean low hours 2001 Outback 2 weeks ago. Nothing has been added as the original owner didn't want to change the boat in any way. First, I want to add a tower. I need the tower to collapse at least around window height to get under garage door. Also, knowing all that you guys know here, what immediate modifications would you make to the boat? No bags at all so I assume those will be high on the list? Thanks again for helping a new guy.

Look at my profile pics and albums. I put a tower on my Outback. It's not hard. Does require another pair of hands though.
