I like the fact that the F150 and GTR are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum.

    Please feel free to judge/stereotype...

I have a brand new ecoboost. Sure, I could have sprung and got one of the bad boy diesels, but I don't need to prove anything. I don't need to be the quarterback, everyone knows that I made the team. And I probably got more action "off the field" than the QB did anyway.

Highlander: I want something that has all the creature comforts and so much reliability that all we have to worry about is gas and oil. My ride isn't flashy, but it's got the power and comfort that keeps me happy. You certainly wouldn't catch me in a minivan and an Accord is too plain. Sure, I could have gotten a flashy sportscar, but I have a solid crew of career women I hang with and when we are at our girl's night happy hour we see those "flashy sportscar driving women" and just laugh because we know they're the poster child for "Trying too hard".

GTR: I could have an ordinary sportscar, but I was drawn to this one for the sheer genius that went into its design. Yeah, I've seen all the Fast and the Furious movies, but unlike you I don't play video games all day long and I don't live in my mom's basement and yes, I can afford this car. I didn't get it to be flashy, I got it because I could. It's basically a Ferrari but without the billboard of "Viagra midlife crisis rich guy" that comes with the Italian steed. When I show up at car shows, I'm surrounded by all the European sportscars, and they make a spot for me to park because honestly they can't find anything bad to say about my ride.

It's okay...Shifts aren't real smooth, but perhaps that'll get better as it breaks in. I haven't towed with it yet. I'll pick up the boat sometime next month.

Trayson...That was way too kind! Thanks for the post.

    F150 is spot on.
Highlander is mostly spot on...It's the kid-hauler for the wife.
GTR is about 75% spot on. There are no cars and coffee around me that I know of. I definitely got it for the engineering marvel that it still is, IMO. Also needed to be able to haul the boys around, as they're huge car-nuts. I don't play video games and I've seen all but maybe the last 2 Fast and Furious movies.

Trayson, thats's too funny. It' s a whole new approach for this thread. If we only list our current vehicle and let others decide what type of driver we are. Ha

Well, hopefully I did justice to starting it off by "stereotyping" myself with some good satire when I did my vehicles. I try to laugh at myself because I am sure others do!

Wife drives a 12 VW Passatt TDI SEL, leased it originally to see if we liked it, love it, bought it out of the lease. We got it because she drives 20K a year to work normally. Now with the VW emissions scandal we got a nice fat I'm sorry check from VW and that finished paying it off.

I drive a 14 Ram Cummins quad cab long bed 4x4. No lift, no fancy wheels and tires. Some have even called it a grandpa truck with the camper shell.
I have owned 4 other trucks in the last 8 years and by the time this one came it was form and function.

Tow the boat, haul all my gear to and from the lakes.

Now I live on the lake, so I don't tow, and I don't haul the gear lol.
But having it more then half paid for I can't see getting another one, same as the Mojo.
