Cool thing is you can walk in anywhere and hear talented musicians. Good food too. Not very pricey overall compared to lots of places. I have a trip there next year I think.

I'm not sure where you are staying but take an uber to corner of broadway and 5th.. Start your honkey tonk tour there going down broadway to second avenue taking a left. Easily walk-able and plenty of things to do. Rippys and Tootsies Orchard lounge are usually busy.

Piranha's Bar and Grill on 3rd ave has some good burgers. If you are really trying to clog your arteries they have one with doughnuts for buns.

Baileys Sports Gill Downtown Nashville or Buffalo's on second ave are probably your best bets for sports bar.

Costs a few $$s to stay dtown. Uber is the way to go if you are farther out.

Enjoy the music. People are friendly. Funny how the dtown area is taken over by the visitor football team during NFL season.
Lots of folks hanging out dtown for a few days. Then walk across the bridge to catch a Sunday NFL game.

There are some cool breakfast joints:

If you want some upscale bars The Patterson House is a cool speakeasy with nice crafted cocktails. In the "gulch" is some more bars like Bar Louie, the new UP (roof top bar), and my favorite burger place - burger republic. The whiskey kitchen is good as well. Someone also mentioned the southern.. good food. I like to do lunch there with a few beers sitting on their patio doing some people watching. Have fun! I love my city of Nashville. Have any more specific questions feel free to ask.

I'd post a picture but the process has changed again and "manage attachments" opens a blank screen. :/

    Beat into submission?

All that and I'm on the wrong thread, but I gotta go........
