Are you guys pulling the glass out of the frame or leaving it in?

It will look great with 5%, no doubt. I've had 3 boats done and my tinter does it with glass off of the boat. He removes the trim pieces and gets down to bare glass so each piece is tinted all the way to the edge with no light gaps. I've seen a handful that have been tinted while on and the light gaps around the edges either showed to much for my liking, or were covered with a strip of black vinyl where glass meets trim to hide it.

Removing the glass is not a difficult job, the worst part is fitting all the pieces into the back of the car!

No way. Did you see Dusty's boat sitting at marina?!?! The black windshield makes the rest of the black POP.

I've had the same tint guy do a couple boats for me. He does not take the glass off. It is a tricky job so it's probably ideal to find someone who has some experience doing curved glass.

I've used 5% on both boats and wouldn't use less

When I see one on the water with less I think it looks nice but not bad azz

I was leaning towards 20% for my SA, but now thinking 5% might be the way to go since I have some black on my boat as well.

With a car tint goes on the inside of the glass, does it really matter if its on the inside or outside on a boat? Thoughts?

I think you are asking for trouble with the film down the road if you put it on the outside.
