v drive light

My v drive light just came on while running. It's not on solid, it flickers. I checked the oil level and it appears to be full. I've read these sensors can stop working accurately. Does anyone have any experience with this problem.

What year do you have?

There are some threads on here about the topic. My 2007 red light comes on when at idle. Once you get the rpms up, the pressure builds , and red light goes off.

Check your fluid level. That could be a cause.

If your fluid is good and the light goes off, nothing to worry about.

If your fluid is good and the light does not go out, could be a bad sensor.
